Newspaper headlines, magazine covers, news programs and even movies, are now documenting the fact that our country is getting fatter. It is, therefore, no coincidence that the prevalence of obesity is also on the rise in our children. In fact, obesity is considered to be one of the most dangerous health problems facing children today. He completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is board certified in pediatrics and speaks medical Spanish.
