PRANA Web Site to Improve South Asians' Health Web Site Highlights
PAMF's South Asian Wellness Task Force -- a committee of physicians, dietitians and community members -- has launched the new PRANA (Prevention and Awareness for South Asians) Web site (www.pamf.org/southasian) to provide health education and resources to the South Asian community.

The physician and staff committee, led by PAMF internal medicine physician Ronesh Sinha and PAMF researcher Latha Palaniappan, hopes to encourage individuals in South Asian communities to have early preventive health screenings, be aware of their unique health risk factors and make positive lifestyle changes to help them live longer, healthier lives.
