PAMF Recognizes Skin Cancer Prevention Month Web Site Highlights
PAMF's Department of Dermatology is hosting a free skin cancer screening clinic that is open to all community members on Saturday, May 12 in the Clark Building on the campus of PAMF's Palo Alto Clinic from 8 a.m. to noon.

Several board-certified dermatologists will provide the screenings as part of a nationwide effort by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) to raise awareness of skin cancer (melanoma) prevention, detection and management during Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month this May.

Fifth Annual Hearing Health Fair

PAMF's Center for Hearing Health will host its Fifth Annual Hearing Health Fair on Wednesday, May 30 from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at the Palo Alto Clinic. Lectures will be presented by various experts on hearing-related topics. Numerous vendors will also be available to provide the latest information on products and services for individuals living with hearing loss. Light refreshments will be provided. The event is free-of-charge, but reservations are requested. Please call (650) 853-4873 to RSVP.

Diagnosis, Management and Potential Complications of Celiac Sprue

Claribel Taylor, M.D., a physician in PAMF's Department of Gastroenterology, will discuss how celiac sprue -- commonly known as celiac's disease, or allergy to gluten -- is diagnosed and managed, and will identify any potential complications from the condition.
