PAMF First in the World to Have ‘Breakthrough’ Device
Radiosurgery System Enables ‘Unsurpassed’
Treatment Accuracy

In January, PAMF became the first health care organization in the world with a new high-definition multileaf collimator (HD 120 MLC), an ultra-fine device for radiosurgery that shapes each treatment beam to match the exact contour of a tumor or other target. This technology allows doctors to treat brain tumors and cancer in all parts of the body with unsurpassed accuracy – all with fewer side effects, greater patient comfort and improved outcomes. read more

PAMF Medical Group Merger: Impact on Patient Care
On January 1, 2008, the three medical groups affiliated with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation – Camino Medical Group (CMG), Palo Alto Medical Clinic (PAMC) and Santa Cruz Medical Clinic (SCMC) – merged into a single medical group. Eventually, the merger will allow patients to receive care at any PAMF facility in Alameda, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties. We will be working over the coming year to ensure the clinical, administrative and technical foundations are in place to allow patients to access care throughout the consolidated PAMF system. We look forward to sharing more information about our progress as it becomes available.

Attention PAMFOnline Users:
On Saturday, March 8, PAMFOnline will be unavailable from 1:30 p.m. until 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 9, due to a software upgrade. Please plan ahead for this downtime. PAMF continues to be the leader in online personal health records and we hope the site upgrades and new features will allow you to manage your health care faster and more easily than ever before.
