Services Ease Cancer's Emotional, Financial Challenges
When a person is diagnosed with cancer, he or she usually receives treatment with one goal in mind: to kill the cancerous cells. PAMF recognizes, however, that a cancer patient is not just a body to treat, but rather a whole person whose emotional health, finances and relationships, as well as other aspects of his or her life, are also challenged by cancer. This is why PAMF is expanding the concept of cancer care from simply treating the disease to treating the entire person – body, mind and spirit. Read more about our Cancer Care Services at PAMF...

Pregnant? Participants Sought for Research Study
The PAMF Research Institute and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are seeking adult women who are between 9 and 23 weeks pregnant to participate in a research study. During pregnancy, it is normal for a very small number of the fetus's blood cells to enter into the mother's bloodstream. The study seeks to identify and isolate these circulating fetal cells using non-invasive technology. Because this technology (by Artemis Health Inc.) is in the development phase, results cannot be provided to study participants. Participants will have one 30-minute study visit that will include a blood draw, and they will receive $50 as compensation for their time. For more information, call Paula Whited, PAMF clinical research coordinator, at 650-330-4369.

PAMF is sponsoring the event and invites you to stop by a booth set up before the game for breast cancer information. Purchase your ticket online, by using the code PAMF for the $4 admission ticket, or visit the ticket window on game day and present your PAMF newsletter or other PAMF printed material.
