Baby Boot Camp has been awarded a mini grant through Sutter County Children and Families Commission for free classes open to Sutter County residents who have at least one child age five or under. Baby Boot Camp is a stroller fitness class combining strength training with cardiovascular drills designed to help moms get fit. Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday at 9am in Yuba City. Bringing Baby Home has been awarded a mini grant through Sutter County Children and Families Commission for free classes open to Sutter County resident expecting couples. The Bringing Baby Home program was designed by clinical psychologist, Dr. John Gottman, based on his 30 years of research in the area of relationships and marriage. Through lecture, video, group discussions and planned exercises couples will learn the tools to cope constructively with the stresses related to the birth of a child. Classes will begin in October.
